There's 7 of the Elder Priests including Qian Daoliu who is the Grand Elder Priest. Bibi Dong is the Supreme Pontiff of the Spirit Hall but she does not have control over the Elder Palace.

Elder Palace is a hidden force in Spirit Hall and is the real reason why they are so strong.

Yeah it looks good no one's disputing that fact. But it's not like the story ends after this fight. Their are more strong people and enthralling challenges for Tang San and co. Would be so much better if the Buddha's fury was used against Great Masters, rather than being used against fodder and having the damage limited due to the position of the fight maybe. Same with the Tidal wave, it's an ability that could've been shown to decimate a city rather than give the occupants a quick bath. Wasting time making awesome scenes whilst degrading the story.

the weapons cant kill the great masters...it could be used just to thin out numbers....so only the strong fighters can survive the attack.....

I have to admit, they had me excited in this one. I loved the hidden weapon attack and how much damage it did. I also was proud of TS and his deceptive strategy, they finally showed a little of his battle iq again, but I wonder will it last smh.

Just checked. So Supreme Pontiff is Bibi Dong, and I think all the elders follow her. Then Qian Daoliu is the Grand Worship, and I think all the Worship (it's a title) follow him, as they are in the hidden Elders palace, and they are the true source of power of Spirit Hall. And the OP guys that are coming now are Worships. Including Qian Daoliu, there's 7 Worships. Not sure if Worship is the right word, Priest or Elder Priest might be a better word.

All the elders seem to be at Level 92-93. And the Worships are at 96-98, with the exception of Qian Daoliu at 99. And each level at 90+ is a big difference, so yeah the Worships are a lot stronger.

The difference in Soul Power alone, not including other factors that will affect combat...

Level 96 gap with level 95 is around the same ratio as level 10-19 vs Level 50-59. If we look at Elite School Tournament, Soul Hall's Team: Hu Liena, Xie Yue and Yan were in the early level 50s and they were noticeably stronger than the Seven Shreks who were in the 40s.

So it may not sound much on paper, it is in fact quite a huge gap.

But the angel legion is fried and pierced, no? In the novel they described it with blood mist splashing after the weapon explode as a golden red tornado. The only thing that saved Hu Liena in the novel was Tang San's kindness preventing her from going to block the weapon. I mean, now they're in range, it does not make sense that Hu Liena and Xie Yue can run out the range while the other Spirit Sages (or perhaps Spirit Douluo) died just like that. It seems like a heavy plot armor repair in this part.
